| | | Welcome | | | | | | Welcome to The Justice Guard!
Upon returning from the Rogue Isles, Captain Amazing, having thwarted one of Lord Recluse's most sinister plan to date, namely the siphoning of every super power in the world into him, Amazing was re-instated into the Freedom Phalanx. However, rather then take on full time membership, Amazing decided that the situation that brought the world on the brink of destruction should never come that close again. He decided to put together a cadre of super heroes that, should they have to, could take on the more dangerous missions of Paragon City and the world, where the Freedom Phalanx couldn't. ''(The latter had already been seen in what many now call the Statesman's Taskforce, where Statesman himself was powerless to stop his one time friend, Lord Recluse...)'' As luck would have it, Liberty Guard, the "embodiment of patriotism" and long time friend of Amazing, began talking about just the same thing. LG would recount his days in the Justice Guard, a premier SuperGroup before and after the Rikti war, that had fallen into disarray and abandonment.
At that moment in time, they both looked at each other and agreed that it was in fact time for The Justice Guard to be "reborn", with a new leadership behind it, one that represented the best of the current heroes and the champions of old. Their idea was perfect, until they ran into a slight problem. Statesman still didn't entirely believe that Amazing had the maturity to be trusted with such an undertaking, but with the increased media coverage and publicity over the Captain having; in fact; led a team to save the world, he simply couldn't yank his membership or hero rights, nor could he put one of his own with Amazing, things were far too busy.
So he came up with a middle ground: A police liaison.
ArchStrike; a mutant police officer; was to be a third founding member with equal rights of Amazing and LG, just to keep an eye on things. Amazing protested but he was stopped short by Statesman's ability to veto any new Super group, which he threatened to do. Amazing conceded and '''The Justice Guard''' was reborn!
However... It is said that there are always two sides to every coin.
The Society of Evil After a defeat by a seemingly nobody super hero, Lord Recluse charges Dreadnot, a former Paragon Native who has strong ties to Captain Amazing, to create a splinter group within Arachnos to deal with the upstart Captain, as well as his newly formed "Justice Guard". Giving the funding of Arachnos, Dreadnot sets out to enlist those most cunning, powerful and ruthless to aid him in his assignment to hunt down every member of The Justice Guard, and break them in two!

The short term scheduled Respec TF went absolutely swimmingly. Energyhorse, Dark Lancer, Genine ExMu, and Silence Unheard where all there along with Omega - Man, HP Baxxter, and a few other that where great on the support side of it. Time wise, we blew through the entire thing in under 2 hours, making it the fastest thing I have done.
Another fine Strike Force by the Society of Evil! Catalina 6.7, Cyber-Strife, and Malaketh were in attendance, and we quickly rolled through it on relentless, taking no prisoners! Thanks to everyone who showed up :)
Another Successful Strike Force for the Society of Evil! Catalina 6.7, Death-Ray, Widower Forlorn, and Emiline all took part in the Sky Raider oriented Strike Force that culminated in us, well no spoilers :P
A fun time was had by all! Thanks to all who attended! :)

Adding automatic preview of images in the custom forum icons section of the control panel (under style and colors). There will be a lot more of this moving forward. The UI for administrators needs to make sense, display real-time previews of changes they're making as they're making them, and it needs to do it everywhere. This is a primary focal point moving foward.
